विशं॑विशं म॒घवा॒ पर्य॑शायत॒ जना॑नां॒ धेना॑ अव॒चाक॑श॒द्वृषा॑ । यस्याह॑ श॒क्रः सव॑नेषु॒ रण्य॑ति॒ स ती॒व्रैः सोमै॑: सहते पृतन्य॒तः ॥
विशंविशं मघवा पर्यशायत जनानां धेना अवचाकशद्वृषा । यस्याह शक्रः सवनेषु रण्यति स तीव्रैः सोमैः सहते पृतन्यतः ॥
viśaṃ-viśam maghavā pary aśāyata janānāṃ dhenā avacākaśad vṛṣā | yasyāha śakraḥ savaneṣu raṇyati sa tīvraiḥ somaiḥ sahate pṛtanyataḥ ||

English translation:

“Maghavat, the showerer (of benefits), encompasses all people; he contemplates the praises ofmankind; the man in whose sacrifice Śakra delights, overcomes (foes) wishing to fight by means of his pungentSoma-libations.”
