आ वा॑मगन्त्सुम॒तिर्वा॑जिनीवसू॒ न्य॑श्विना हृ॒त्सु कामा॑ अयंसत । अभू॑तं गो॒पा मि॑थु॒ना शु॑भस्पती प्रि॒या अ॑र्य॒म्णो दुर्याँ॑ अशीमहि ॥
आ वामगन्त्सुमतिर्वाजिनीवसू न्यश्विना हृत्सु कामा अयंसत । अभूतं गोपा मिथुना शुभस्पती प्रिया अर्यम्णो दुर्याँ अशीमहि ॥
ā vām agan sumatir vājinīvasū ny aśvinā hṛtsu kāmā ayaṃsata | abhūtaṃ gopā mithunā śubhas patī priyā aryamṇo duryām̐ aśīmahi ||
English translation:
“Aśvins, rich in food, lords of water, twin (associates), may your good will devolve (upon us), may thedesires (of our hearts) be attained; you have been my protectors; may we, (being) beloved, attain the habitationof a husband.”
