ये स्था मनो॑र्य॒ज्ञिया॒स्ते शृ॑णोतन॒ यद्वो॑ देवा॒ ईम॑हे॒ तद्द॑दातन । जैत्रं॒ क्रतुं॑ रयि॒मद्वी॒रव॒द्यश॒स्तद्दे॒वाना॒मवो॑ अ॒द्या वृ॑णीमहे ॥
ये स्था मनोर्यज्ञियास्ते शृणोतन यद्वो देवा ईमहे तद्ददातन । जैत्रं क्रतुं रयिमद्वीरवद्यशस्तद्देवानामवो अद्या वृणीमहे ॥
ye sthā manor yajñiyās te śṛṇotana yad vo devā īmahe tad dadātana | jaitraṃ kratuṃ rayimad vīravad yaśas tad devānām avo adyā vṛṇīmahe ||
English translation:
“Gods, who are entitled to the worship of men, hear (our prayers), and grant us that which we request;(bestow upon us) the intelligence requisite for victory, and fame with wealth, and male progeny; we solicit todaythis protection of the gods.”
