श्रेष्ठं॑ नो अ॒द्य स॑वित॒र्वरे॑ण्यं भा॒गमा सु॑व॒ स हि र॑त्न॒धा असि॑ । रा॒यो जनि॑त्रीं धि॒षणा॒मुप॑ ब्रुवे स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑ग्निं स॑मिधा॒नमी॑महे ॥
श्रेष्ठं नो अद्य सवितर्वरेण्यं भागमा सुव स हि रत्नधा असि । रायो जनित्रीं धिषणामुप ब्रुवे स्वस्त्यग्निं समिधानमीमहे ॥
śreṣṭhaṃ no adya savitar vareṇyam bhāgam ā suva sa hi ratnadhā asi | rāyo janitrīṃ dhiṣaṇām upa bruve svasty agniṃ samidhānam īmahe ||

English translation:

Savitā, this day bestow upon us excellent and eligible portion, for you verily are the dispenser ofwealth; I recite the praise (of the gods) which is the progenitress of riches; we solicit the kindled fire for ourwelfare.”
