प्र याः सिस्र॑ते॒ सूर्य॑स्य र॒श्मिभि॒र्ज्योति॒र्भर॑न्तीरु॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टिषु । भ॒द्रा नो॑ अ॒द्य श्रव॑से॒ व्यु॑च्छत स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑ग्निं स॑मिधा॒नमी॑महे ॥
प्र याः सिस्रते सूर्यस्य रश्मिभिर्ज्योतिर्भरन्तीरुषसो व्युष्टिषु । भद्रा नो अद्य श्रवसे व्युच्छत स्वस्त्यग्निं समिधानमीमहे ॥
pra yāḥ sisrate sūryasya raśmibhir jyotir bharantīr uṣaso vyuṣṭiṣu | bhadrā no adya śravase vy ucchata svasty agniṃ samidhānam īmahe ||

English translation:

“Dawns, who are associated with the rays of the sun, bringing light at the opening (of the day), shineupon us today, propitious, for our subsistence; we solicit the kindled fire for our welfare.”
