मात्रे॒ नु ते॒ सुमि॑ते इन्द्र पू॒र्वी द्यौर्म॒ज्मना॑ पृथि॒वी काव्ये॑न । वरा॑य ते घृ॒तव॑न्तः सु॒तास॒: स्वाद्म॑न्भवन्तु पी॒तये॒ मधू॑नि ॥
मात्रे नु ते सुमिते इन्द्र पूर्वी द्यौर्मज्मना पृथिवी काव्येन । वराय ते घृतवन्तः सुतासः स्वाद्मन्भवन्तु पीतये मधूनि ॥
mātre nu te sumite indra pūrvī dyaur majmanā pṛthivī kāvyena | varāya te ghṛtavantaḥ sutāsaḥ svādman bhavantu pītaye madhūni ||
English translation:
“By your overwhelming energy, Indra, the vast heaven and earth, the measurers (of all), have beenquickly constructed; may the Soma-libations mixed with ghī be acceptable (to you) who are most excellent; (maythe oblations be) sweet for your drinking.”
