Rig Veda 10.28.6

ए॒वा हि मां त॒वसं॑ व॒र्धय॑न्ति दि॒वश्चि॑न्मे बृह॒त उत्त॑रा॒ धूः । पु॒रू स॒हस्रा॒ नि शि॑शामि सा॒कम॑श॒त्रंय हि मा॒ जनि॑ता ज॒जान॑ ॥
एवा हि मां तवसं वर्धयन्ति दिवश्चिन्मे बृहत उत्तरा धूः । पुरू सहस्रा नि शिशामि साकमशत्रंम हि मा जनिता जजान ॥
evā hi māṃ tavasaṃ vardhayanti divaś cin me bṛhata uttarā dhūḥ | purū sahasrā ni śiśāmi sākam aśatruṃ hi mā janitā jajāna ||

English translation:

“(Indra speaks). Since (your laudations) thus increase my strength, (let the praise of me) who ammighty, (rise) even higher than the heavens. I destroy at once many thousand (of foes), for the genitive rator (of all)has engendered me without an enemy.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Increase my strength: tavasam = augment me so as to make me strong;genitive rator: aśatrum = the genitive rator has engendered me, without any enemies whom I could not overcome
