विश्वो॒ ह्य१॒॑न्यो अ॒रिरा॑ज॒गाम॒ ममेदह॒ श्वशु॑रो॒ ना ज॑गाम । ज॒क्षी॒याद्धा॒ना उ॒त सोमं॑ पपीया॒त्स्वा॑शित॒: पुन॒रस्तं॑ जगायात् ॥
विश्वो ह्यन्यो अरिराजगाम ममेदह श्वशुरो ना जगाम । जक्षीयाद्धाना उत सोमं पपीयात्स्वाशितः पुनरस्तं जगायात् ॥
viśvo hy anyo arir ājagāma mamed aha śvaśuro nā jagāma | jakṣīyād dhānā uta somam papīyāt svāśitaḥ punar astaṃ jagāyāt ||
English translation:
“(The wife of Vasukra speaks). Every other (divine) lord has come, but my father-in-law has notcome;may he eat the parched grain; and drink the Soma; when he is well-satisfied, may he return home.”

Legend: Indra came in disguise to a sacrifice celebrated by Vasukra, whose wife, not recognizing him, prayed forhis presence; to satisfy her that he had actually come, the following dialogue occurs
