Rig Veda 10.22.9

त्वं न॑ इन्द्र शूर॒ शूरै॑रु॒त त्वोता॑सो ब॒र्हणा॑ । पु॒रु॒त्रा ते॒ वि पू॒र्तयो॒ नव॑न्त क्षो॒णयो॑ यथा ॥
त्वं न इन्द्र शूर शूरैरुत त्वोतासो बर्हणा । पुरुत्रा ते वि पूर्तयो नवन्त क्षोणयो यथा ॥
tvaṃ na indra śūra śūrair uta tvotāso barhaṇā | purutrā te vi pūrtayo navanta kṣoṇayo yathā ||

English translation:

“Hero, Indra, withh the hero (Maruts defend) us; that protected by you (we may be able) to overcome(our enemies); your blessings are diffused among many (praisers), as men (repair to their lord).”
