इ॒मम॑ग्ने चम॒सं मा वि जि॑ह्वरः प्रि॒यो दे॒वाना॑मु॒त सो॒म्याना॑म् । ए॒ष यश्च॑म॒सो दे॑व॒पान॒स्तस्मि॑न्दे॒वा अ॒मृता॑ मादयन्ते ॥
इममग्ने चमसं मा वि जिह्वरः प्रियो देवानामुत सोम्यानाम् । एष यश्चमसो देवपानस्तस्मिन्देवा अमृता मादयन्ते ॥
imam agne camasam mā vi jihvaraḥ priyo devānām uta somyānām | eṣa yaś camaso devapānas tasmin devā amṛtā mādayante ||
English translation:
“Agni, shake not this ladle, for it is dear to the gods and to the (Pitṛs) who are worthy of the Soma; thiswhich is the drinking ladle of the ogds, in this immortal gods delight.”
