Rig Veda 9.107.19

तवा॒हं सो॑म रारण स॒ख्य इ॑न्दो दि॒वेदि॑वे । पु॒रूणि॑ बभ्रो॒ नि च॑रन्ति॒ मामव॑ परि॒धीँरति॒ ताँ इ॑हि ॥
तवाहं सोम रारण सख्य इन्दो दिवेदिवे । पुरूणि बभ्रो नि चरन्ति मामव परिधीँरति ताँ इहि ॥
tavāhaṃ soma rāraṇa sakhya indo dive-dive | purūṇi babhro ni caranti mām ava paridhīm̐r ati tām̐ ihi ||

English translation:

“In your friendship, Indu Soma, I have rejoiced day by day; many (rākṣasas) assail me, tawny-coloured (Soma); overcome these who surround me.”
