पु॒ना॒नश्च॒मू ज॒नय॑न्म॒तिं क॒विः सोमो॑ दे॒वेषु॑ रण्यति । अ॒पो वसा॑न॒: परि॒ गोभि॒रुत्त॑र॒: सीद॒न्वने॑ष्वव्यत ॥
पुनानश्चमू जनयन्मतिं कविः सोमो देवेषु रण्यति । अपो वसानः परि गोभिरुत्तरः सीदन्वनेष्वव्यत ॥
punānaś camū janayan matiṃ kaviḥ somo deveṣu raṇyati | apo vasānaḥ pari gobhir uttaraḥ sīdan vaneṣv avyata ||
English translation:
“Purified in the cups, exciting laudation, the sage Soma rejoices among the gods; clothed with the waters sitting in the wooden bowls, he is surrounded with the curds and milk.”
