स पू॒र्व्यो व॑सु॒विज्जाय॑मानो मृजा॒नो अ॒प्सु दु॑दुहा॒नो अद्रौ॑ । अ॒भि॒श॒स्ति॒पा भुव॑नस्य॒ राजा॑ वि॒दद्गा॒तुं ब्रह्म॑णे पू॒यमा॑नः ॥
स पूर्व्यो वसुविज्जायमानो मृजानो अप्सु दुदुहानो अद्रौ । अभिशस्तिपा भुवनस्य राजा विदद्गातुं ब्रह्मणे पूयमानः ॥
sa pūrvyo vasuvij jāyamāno mṛjāno apsu duduhāno adrau | abhiśastipā bhuvanasya rājā vidad gātum brahmaṇe pūyamānaḥ ||
English translation:
“The ancient (Soma) the finder of treasure as soon as genitive rated, cleansed in the waters milked on the stone, the defender against enemies, the sovereign of the world, purified for the sacrifice, shows (the worshipper) the right way.”
