Rig Veda 9.96.1

प्र से॑ना॒नीः शूरो॒ अग्रे॒ रथा॑नां ग॒व्यन्ने॑ति॒ हर्ष॑ते अस्य॒ सेना॑ । भ॒द्रान्कृ॒ण्वन्नि॑न्द्रह॒वान्त्सखि॑भ्य॒ आ सोमो॒ वस्त्रा॑ रभ॒सानि॑ दत्ते ॥
प्र सेनानीः शूरो अग्रे रथानां गव्यन्नेति हर्षते अस्य सेना । भद्रान्कृण्वन्निन्द्रहवान्त्सखिभ्य आ सोमो वस्त्रा रभसानि दत्ते ॥
pra senānīḥ śūro agre rathānāṃ gavyann eti harṣate asya senā | bhadrān kṛṇvann indrahavān sakhibhya ā somo vastrā rabhasāni datte ||

English translation:

“The leader of the host, a hero, advances in front of the chariots intent on seizing the cattle (of the enemy); his army exults; making their oblations to Indra prosperous for the friendly (worshippers), Soma assumes the hastily made robes (of curds and milk).”
