Rig Veda 9.67.30

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

अ॒लाय्य॑स्य पर॒शुर्न॑नाश॒ तमा प॑वस्व देव सोम । आ॒खुं चि॑दे॒व दे॑व सोम ॥
अलाय्यस्य परशुर्ननाश तमा पवस्व देव सोम । आखुं चिदेव देव सोम ॥
alāyyasya paraśur nanāśa tam ā pavasva deva soma | ākhuṃ cid eva deva soma ||

English translation:

“May the battle-axe of the foe destroy the foe; alone flow tous, bright Soma; (slay) the villain only, bright Soma.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The battle-axe: paraśuḥ = chedakaḥ pavamānaḥ, as if Soma were metaphorically called a battle-axe and implored to turn his edge against foes only (tam eva śatrum nāśayatu)
