Rig Veda 9.67.10

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

अ॒वि॒ता नो॑ अ॒जाश्व॑: पू॒षा याम॑नियामनि । आ भ॑क्षत्क॒न्या॑सु नः ॥
अविता नो अजाश्वः पूषा यामनियामनि । आ भक्षत्कन्यासु नः ॥
avitā no ajāśvaḥ pūṣā yāmani-yāmani | ā bhakṣat kanyāsu naḥ ||

English translation:

“May the goat-borne Pūṣan in all his paths be our protector; may he bestow maidens on us.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

In all his paths: Or, in this sacrifice;

Yāman = yajña because it is reached, i.e., obtained by the gods
