आ दिवस्पृष्ठमश्वयुर्गव्ययुः सोम रोहसि । वीरयुः शवसस्पते ॥
ā divas pṛṣṭham aśvayur gavyayuḥ soma rohasi | vīrayuḥ śavasas pate ||
English translation:
“Soma, lord of food, you ascend to the summit of the sky, desirous of horses, kine, and male progeny.”
