Rig Veda 9.22.6

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

तन्तुं॑ तन्वा॒नमु॑त्त॒ममनु॑ प्र॒वत॑ आशत । उ॒तेदमु॑त्त॒माय्य॑म् ॥
तन्तुं तन्वानमुत्तममनु प्रवत आशत । उतेदमुत्तमाय्यम् ॥
tantuṃ tanvānam uttamam anu pravata āśata | utedam uttamāyyam ||

English translation:

“Descending rivers follow this excellent (Soma) as it spreads out the sacrifice; this rits is glorified thereby.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

As it spreads out the sacrifice: tantum = yajñam; or, alternatively, straining-cloth; 'descending river fills out the outspread threads'
