Rig Veda 9.15.6

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

ए॒ष वसू॑नि पिब्द॒ना परु॑षा ययि॒वाँ अति॑ । अव॒ शादे॑षु गच्छति ॥
एष वसूनि पिब्दना परुषा ययिवाँ अति । अव शादेषु गच्छति ॥
eṣa vasūni pibdanā paruṣā yayivām̐ ati | ava śādeṣu gacchati ||

English translation:

“Overpowering at the juncture of time the discomfited concealers (the rākṣasas), he descends upon those doomed to destruction.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
