Rig Veda 9.10.1

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

प्र स्वा॒नासो॒ रथा॑ इ॒वार्व॑न्तो॒ न श्र॑व॒स्यव॑: । सोमा॑सो रा॒ये अ॑क्रमुः ॥
प्र स्वानासो रथा इवार्वन्तो न श्रवस्यवः । सोमासो राये अक्रमुः ॥
pra svānāso rathā ivārvanto na śravasyavaḥ | somāso rāye akramuḥ ||

English translation:

“Longing for food the Soma juices, uttering a sound like chariots or like horses, have come for the sake of riches.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Somāsaḥ = desiring to seize food from their enemies; taken with arvantaḥ, it is translated 'or like glory-seeking steeds
