Rig Veda 9.1.6

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

पु॒नाति॑ ते परि॒स्रुतं॒ सोमं॒ सूर्य॑स्य दुहि॒ता । वारे॑ण॒ शश्व॑ता॒ तना॑ ॥
पुनाति ते परिस्रुतं सोमं सूर्यस्य दुहिता । वारेण शश्वता तना ॥
punāti te parisrutaṃ somaṃ sūryasya duhitā | vāreṇa śaśvatā tanā ||

English translation:

“The daughter of the Sun purifies your gushing streams through the eternal outstretched hair.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The daughter of the Sun: śraddhā = faith;

Vājasneyi: 'Verily śraddhā is the daughter of the Sun, she purifies him'. The hair-sieve used for straining the Soma
