अश्वं॒ न गी॒र्भी र॒थ्यं॑ सु॒दान॑वो मर्मृ॒ज्यन्ते॑ देव॒यव॑: । उ॒भे तो॒के तन॑ये दस्म विश्पते॒ पर्षि॒ राधो॑ म॒घोना॑म् ॥
अश्वं न गीर्भी रथ्यं सुदानवो मर्मृज्यन्ते देवयवः । उभे तोके तनये दस्म विश्पते पर्षि राधो मघोनाम् ॥
aśvaṃ na gīrbhī rathyaṃ sudānavo marmṛjyante devayavaḥ | ubhe toke tanaye dasma viśpate parṣi rādho maghonām ||
English translation:
“The liberal worshippers with their hymns honour you harnessed to the car like a horse; graceful lord ofmen, grant wealth to us rich in children and grandchildren.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
With their hymns honour you: chariots of the gods areyoked by the praises of their worshippers; riich in children: ubhe and toke are treated as dual
