यस्मा॒द्रेज॑न्त कृ॒ष्टय॑श्च॒र्कृत्या॑नि कृण्व॒तः । स॒ह॒स्र॒सां मे॒धसा॑ताविव॒ त्मना॒ग्निं धी॒भिः स॑पर्यत ॥
यस्माद्रेजन्त कृष्टयश्चर्कृत्यानि कृण्वतः । सहस्रसां मेधसाताविव त्मनाग्निं धीभिः सपर्यत ॥
yasmād rejanta kṛṣṭayaś carkṛtyāni kṛṇvataḥ | sahasrasām medhasātāv iva tmanāgniṃ dhībhiḥ saparyata ||

English translation:

“Since men tremble before those who perform the sacred sacrifices, therefore, do you devoutly worshipin the solemn rite Agni the bestower of thousands of kine.”
