बट् सू॑र्य॒ श्रव॑सा म॒हाँ अ॑सि स॒त्रा दे॑व म॒हाँ अ॑सि । म॒ह्ना दे॒वाना॑मसु॒र्य॑: पु॒रोहि॑तो वि॒भु ज्योति॒रदा॑भ्यम् ॥
बट् सूर्य श्रवसा महाँ असि सत्रा देव महाँ असि । मह्ना देवानामसुर्यः पुरोहितो विभु ज्योतिरदाभ्यम् ॥
baṭ sūrya śravasā mahām̐ asi satrā deva mahām̐ asi | mahnā devānām asuryaḥ purohito vibhu jyotir adābhyam ||
English translation:
“Verily, O sun, you are great in fame; O god, you are indeed mighty among the gods in might; you arethe slayer of the asuras, and the preceptor (of the gods); your glory is widespread and to be marred by none.”
