अनु॑ ते॒ शुष्मं॑ तु॒रय॑न्तमीयतुः क्षो॒णी शिशुं॒ न मा॒तरा॑ । विश्वा॑स्ते॒ स्पृध॑: श्नथयन्त म॒न्यवे॑ वृ॒त्रं यदि॑न्द्र॒ तूर्व॑सि ॥
अनु ते शुष्मं तुरयन्तमीयतुः क्षोणी शिशुं न मातरा । विश्वास्ते स्पृधः श्नथयन्त मन्यवे वृत्रं यदिन्द्र तूर्वसि ॥
anu te śuṣmaṃ turayantam īyatuḥ kṣoṇī śiśuṃ na mātarā | viśvās te spṛdhaḥ śnathayanta manyave vṛtraṃ yad indra tūrvasi ||
English translation:
“Heaven and earth follow your destructive energy as mothers their child; since you smite Vṛtra, all thehostile hosts, Indra, faint at your wrath.”
