यच्छ॒क्रासि॑ परा॒वति॒ यद॑र्वा॒वति॑ वृत्रहन् । अत॑स्त्वा गी॒र्भिर्द्यु॒गदि॑न्द्र के॒शिभि॑: सु॒तावाँ॒ आ वि॑वासति ॥
यच्छक्रासि परावति यदर्वावति वृत्रहन् । अतस्त्वा गीर्भिर्द्युगदिन्द्र केशिभिः सुतावाँ आ विवासति ॥
yac chakrāsi parāvati yad arvāvati vṛtrahan | atas tvā gīrbhir dyugad indra keśibhiḥ sutāvām̐ ā vivāsati ||
English translation:
“Whether, Śakra, you are in the far-distant region, or whether, slayer of Vṛtra, you are in the lower-- thesacrificeer longs to being you, Indra, from thence by his hymns as by heaven-going steeds.”
