पिब॑न्ति मि॒त्रो अ॑र्य॒मा तना॑ पू॒तस्य॒ वरु॑णः । त्रि॒ष॒ध॒स्थस्य॒ जाव॑तः ॥
पिबन्ति मित्रो अर्यमा तना पूतस्य वरुणः । त्रिषधस्थस्य जावतः ॥
pibanti mitro aryamā tanā pūtasya varuṇaḥ | triṣadhasthasya jāvataḥ ||

English translation:

“Mitra, Aryaman and Varuṇa drink (the Soma), purified by the straining cloth, abiding in three plural ces,and granting posterity.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Abiding in three plural ces: "The Soma, when it is extracted, is poured into the Āhavanīya,a kind of trough. Thence, it is poured into a cloth, in order to strain it. This cloth is called Pavitra or Daśāpavitra.below the cloth is another trough called Pūtabhṛt" (Haug); these are the three plural ces of the text.
