त्वामिद्वृ॑त्रहन्तम सु॒ताव॑न्तो हवामहे । यदि॑न्द्र मृ॒ळया॑सि नः ॥
त्वामिद्वृत्रहन्तम सुतावन्तो हवामहे । यदिन्द्र मृळयासि नः ॥
tvām id vṛtrahantama sutāvanto havāmahe | yad indra mṛḻayāsi naḥ ||
English translation:
“Bearing the effused libation, we invoke you, mightiest slayer of Vṛtra, if you have favour to us, Indra.”
