आदु॑ मे निव॒रो भु॑वद्वृत्र॒हादि॑ष्ट॒ पौंस्य॑म् । अजा॑तशत्रु॒रस्तृ॑तः ॥
आदु मे निवरो भुवद्वृत्रहादिष्ट पौंस्यम् । अजातशत्रुरस्तृतः ॥
ād u me nivaro bhuvad vṛtrahādiṣṭa pauṃsyam | ajātaśatrur astṛtaḥ ||

English translation:

“Then was my Indra the repeller; then did the smiter of Vṛtra put forth his might, he who has no existentenemies, the invincible.”
