Rig Veda 8.89.7

आ॒मासु॑ प॒क्वमैर॑य॒ आ सूर्यं॑ रोहयो दि॒वि । घ॒र्मं न साम॑न्तपता सुवृ॒क्तिभि॒र्जुष्टं॒ गिर्व॑णसे बृ॒हत् ॥
आमासु पक्वमैरय आ सूर्यं रोहयो दिवि । घर्मं न सामन्तपता सुवृक्तिभिर्जुष्टं गिर्वणसे बृहत् ॥
āmāsu pakvam airaya ā sūryaṃ rohayo divi | gharmaṃ na sāman tapatā suvṛktibhir juṣṭaṃ girvaṇase bṛhat ||

English translation:

“In the immature (cows) you produced the mature (milk), you caused the sun to arise in heaven,(priests), excite (Indra) with your praises as men heat the gharma with sāman hymns. (sing) the acceptableBṛhat sāman to him who is to be honoure dby song.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

You caused the sun to arise in heaven: repetition of thelegend of he paṇis and the stolen cows of the Aṅgirasas. The Ṛṣis implored Indra for help, who, seeing thatthe stronghold of the asuras was enveloped in thick darkness, set the sun in the sky to dispel it; as men heat thegharma: for the hymns of the ceremony of heating the mahāvīra or gharma pot, used in the pravargyaceremony; cf. Aitareya Brāhmaṇa 1.21
