Rig Veda 8.80.5

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

हन्तो॒ नु किमा॑ससे प्रथ॒मं नो॒ रथं॑ कृधि । उ॒प॒मं वा॑ज॒यु श्रव॑: ॥
हन्तो नु किमाससे प्रथमं नो रथं कृधि । उपमं वाजयु श्रवः ॥
hanto nu kim āsase prathamaṃ no rathaṃ kṛdhi | upamaṃ vājayu śravaḥ ||

English translation:

“Up, why sit you still? Make our chariot the first; our food-seeking offering is near you.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Food-seeking:vājayu = annam icchat;
