Rig Veda 8.76.12

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

वाच॑म॒ष्टाप॑दीम॒हं नव॑स्रक्तिमृत॒स्पृश॑म् । इन्द्रा॒त्परि॑ त॒न्वं॑ ममे ॥
वाचमष्टापदीमहं नवस्रक्तिमृतस्पृशम् । इन्द्रात्परि तन्वं ममे ॥
vācam aṣṭāpadīm ahaṃ navasraktim ṛtaspṛśam | indrāt pari tanvam mame ||

English translation:

“I make this sacrificial hymn, reaching to the eight points (of the sky) and rising to a ninth (the sun in thezenith), though it is less than (the dimensions of) Indra.”
