Rig Veda 8.72.9

परि॑ त्रि॒धातु॑रध्व॒रं जू॒र्णिरे॑ति॒ नवी॑यसी । मध्वा॒ होता॑रो अञ्जते ॥
परि त्रिधातुरध्वरं जूर्णिरेति नवीयसी । मध्वा होतारो अञ्जते ॥
pari tridhātur adhvaraṃ jūrṇir eti navīyasī | madhvā hotāro añjate ||

English translation:

“The three-hued fresh impetuous (blaze) goes swiftly round the sacrifice, the priests anoint it with butteṛ”
