Rig Veda 8.71.12

अ॒ग्निं वो॑ देवय॒ज्यया॒ग्निं प्र॑य॒त्य॑ध्व॒रे । अ॒ग्निं धी॒षु प्र॑थ॒मम॒ग्निमर्व॑त्य॒ग्निं क्षैत्रा॑य॒ साध॑से ॥
अग्निं वो देवयज्ययाग्निं प्रयत्यध्वरे । अग्निं धीषु प्रथममग्निमर्वत्यग्निं क्षैत्राय साधसे ॥
agniṃ vo devayajyayāgnim prayaty adhvare | agniṃ dhīṣu prathamam agnim arvaty agniṃ kṣaitrāya sādhase ||

English translation:

“I praise Agni, (O sacrificers), for the inauguration of your divine offering; (I praise him) when thesacrifice is proceeding; (I praise) Agni first of the gods, at our rites; (I praise) Agni when the enemy approaches; (Ipraise) Agni for the attainment of land.”
