Rig Veda 8.71.1

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

त्वं नो॑ अग्ने॒ महो॑भिः पा॒हि विश्व॑स्या॒ अरा॑तेः । उ॒त द्वि॒षो मर्त्य॑स्य ॥
त्वं नो अग्ने महोभिः पाहि विश्वस्या अरातेः । उत द्विषो मर्त्यस्य ॥
tvaṃ no agne mahobhiḥ pāhi viśvasyā arāteḥ | uta dviṣo martyasya ||

English translation:

Agni, do you protect us by great wealh from every niggard and mortal foe.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Mahobhh = mahadbhirdhaqnaiḥ, pūjābhiḥ, by our worship; mahadbhiḥ pālanaiḥ, by your great protections;

Arāteḥ = from thenon-giver, from the non- giving (i.e. niggardliness) of every one
