Rig Veda 8.69.2
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
न॒दं व॒ ओद॑तीनां न॒दं योयु॑वतीनाम् । पतिं॑ वो॒ अघ्न्या॑नां धेनू॒नामि॑षुध्यसि ॥
नदं व ओदतीनां नदं योयुवतीनाम् । पतिं वो अघ्न्यानां धेनूनामिषुध्यसि ॥
nadaṃ va odatīnāṃ nadaṃ yoyuvatīnām | patiṃ vo aghnyānāṃ dhenūnām iṣudhyasi ||
English translation:
“(Invoke) for yourselves the author of the dawns, (I invoke) for you the roarer of the rivers; (I invoke) foryou the lord of the inviolable ones; (O sacrificer), you desire kine.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Author of the dawns: anda = utpādaka; Indrais called he author of the dawns as being identified with the sun, as one of the twelve Ādityas; inviolable ones:aghnyānām = cows
