Rig Veda 8.68.4

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

वि॒श्वान॑रस्य व॒स्पति॒मना॑नतस्य॒ शव॑सः । एवै॑श्च चर्षणी॒नामू॒ती हु॑वे॒ रथा॑नाम् ॥
विश्वानरस्य वस्पतिमनानतस्य शवसः । एवैश्च चर्षणीनामूती हुवे रथानाम् ॥
viśvānarasya vas patim anānatasya śavasaḥ | evaiś ca carṣaṇīnām ūtī huve rathānām ||

English translation:

“I invoke (Indra) the lord of that might which subdues all enmies and bow to none-- (I invoke him)followed by your onsets as his soldiers and (surrounded) by the protection of your chariots (O Maruts).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
