Rig Veda 8.66.11
Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:
व॒यं घा॑ ते॒ अपू॒र्व्येन्द्र॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि वृत्रहन् । पु॒रू॒तमा॑सः पुरुहूत वज्रिवो भृ॒तिं न प्र भ॑रामसि ॥
वयं घा ते अपूर्व्येन्द्र ब्रह्माणि वृत्रहन् । पुरूतमासः पुरुहूत वज्रिवो भृतिं न प्र भरामसि ॥
vayaṃ ghā te apūrvyendra brahmāṇi vṛtrahan | purūtamāsaḥ puruhūta vajrivo bhṛtiṃ na pra bharāmasi ||
English translation:
“Indra, slayer of Vṛra, invoked of many, we, your many worshippers, offer new hymns to you, thunderer,as your wages.”
