निखा॑तं चि॒द्यः पु॑रुसम्भृ॒तं वसूदिद्वप॑ति दा॒शुषे॑ । व॒ज्री सु॑शि॒प्रो हर्य॑श्व॒ इत्क॑र॒दिन्द्र॒: क्रत्वा॒ यथा॒ वश॑त् ॥
निखातं चिद्यः पुरुसम्भृतं वसूदिद्वपति दाशुषे । वज्री सुशिप्रो हर्यश्व इत्करदिन्द्रः क्रत्वा यथा वशत् ॥
nikhātaṃ cid yaḥ purusambhṛtaṃ vasūd id vapati dāśuṣe | vajrī suśipro haryaśva it karad indraḥ kratvā yathā vaśat ||
English translation:
“He who verily pours forth to the offerer the buried wealth accusative ulated by many, he, Indra, thethunderer, handsome-jawed, borne on bay steeds, does as he plural ases, (when propitiated) with sacrifice.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Accusative ulated by many: puru saṃbhṛtam = the buried wealth, plural ntiful and accusative ulated; wealth as theaccumulated stores from former sacrifices;
