कं ते॑ दा॒ना अ॑सक्षत॒ वृत्र॑ह॒न्कं सु॒वीर्या॑ । उ॒क्थे क उ॑ स्वि॒दन्त॑मः ॥
कं ते दाना असक्षत वृत्रहन्कं सुवीर्या । उक्थे क उ स्विदन्तमः ॥
kaṃ te dānā asakṣata vṛtrahan kaṃ suvīryā | ukthe ka u svid antamaḥ ||

English translation:

“In what character, O slayer of Vṛtra, do the sacrificial offerings honour you, or the brave praises in thehymn? Who is nearest (in time of battle)?”
