Rig Veda 8.64.5

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

त्यं चि॒त्पर्व॑तं गि॒रिं श॒तव॑न्तं सह॒स्रिण॑म् । वि स्तो॒तृभ्यो॑ रुरोजिथ ॥
त्यं चित्पर्वतं गिरिं शतवन्तं सहस्रिणम् । वि स्तोतृभ्यो रुरोजिथ ॥
tyaṃ cit parvataṃ giriṃ śatavantaṃ sahasriṇam | vi stotṛbhyo rurojitha ||

English translation:

“Do you burst, for your worshippers, the gnarled cloud with its hundreds and thousands of showers”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The gnarled cloud: parvata = cloud, mountain;

Giri = cloud, mountain;

Parvata = parvavat = having knots,gnarled
