Rig Veda 8.63.9

अ॒स्य वृष्णो॒ व्योद॑न उ॒रु क्र॑मिष्ट जी॒वसे॑ । यवं॒ न प॒श्व आ द॑दे ॥
अस्य वृष्णो व्योदन उरु क्रमिष्ट जीवसे । यवं न पश्व आ ददे ॥
asya vṛṣṇo vyodana uru kramiṣṭa jīvase | yavaṃ na paśva ā dade ||

English translation:

“When the various sustenance, given by Indra, the showerer, is obtained, all men step over with widestrides for (dear) life; they receive it as cattle and barley.”
