सम॑नेव वपुष्य॒तः कृ॒णव॒न्मानु॑षा यु॒गा । वि॒दे तदिन्द्र॒श्चेत॑न॒मध॑ श्रु॒तो भ॒द्रा इन्द्र॑स्य रा॒तय॑: ॥
समनेव वपुष्यतः कृणवन्मानुषा युगा । विदे तदिन्द्रश्चेतनमध श्रुतो भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः ॥
samaneva vapuṣyataḥ kṛṇavan mānuṣā yugā | vide tad indraś cetanam adha śruto bhadrā indrasya rātayaḥ ||
English translation:
“As a woman who shows no partiality wins her lovers to her, so Indra confers periods of time onmankind;it is Indra who has performed that knowledge- giving achievement, therefore he is renowned; Indra's gifts areworthy of praise.”
