त्वं पु॒रू स॒हस्रा॑णि श॒तानि॑ च यू॒था दा॒नाय॑ मंहसे । आ पु॑रंद॒रं च॑कृम॒ विप्र॑वचस॒ इन्द्रं॒ गाय॒न्तोऽव॑से ॥
त्वं पुरू सहस्राणि शतानि च यूथा दानाय मंहसे । आ पुरंदरं चकृम विप्रवचस इन्द्रं गायन्तोऽवसे ॥
tvam purū sahasrāṇi śatāni ca yūthā dānāya maṃhase | ā puraṃdaraṃ cakṛma vipravacasa indraṃ gāyanto 'vase ||
English translation:
“You grant many hundreds and thousands of herds as a gift (to the offerer), uttering long praises, we,hymning Indra, the destroyer of cities, bring him before us for our protection.”
