आ नो॑ अग्ने वयो॒वृधं॑ र॒यिं पा॑वक॒ शंस्य॑म् । रास्वा॑ च न उपमाते पुरु॒स्पृहं॒ सुनी॑ती॒ स्वय॑शस्तरम् ॥
आ नो अग्ने वयोवृधं रयिं पावक शंस्यम् । रास्वा च न उपमाते पुरुस्पृहं सुनीती स्वयशस्तरम् ॥
ā no agne vayovṛdhaṃ rayim pāvaka śaṃsyam | rāsvā ca na upamāte puruspṛhaṃ sunītī svayaśastaram ||
English translation:
“Purifying Agni, bestow upon us food-augmenting excellent wealth; and (bring) us, O meter-out of good,by auspicious guidance, (a treasure) desired by many and bringing its own fame.”
