शोचा॑ शोचिष्ठ दीदि॒हि वि॒शे मयो॒ रास्व॑ स्तो॒त्रे म॒हाँ अ॑सि । दे॒वानां॒ शर्म॒न्मम॑ सन्तु सू॒रय॑: शत्रू॒षाह॑: स्व॒ग्नय॑: ॥
शोचा शोचिष्ठ दीदिहि विशे मयो रास्व स्तोत्रे महाँ असि । देवानां शर्मन्मम सन्तु सूरयः शत्रूषाहः स्वग्नयः ॥
śocā śociṣṭha dīdihi viśe mayo rāsva stotre mahām̐ asi | devānāṃ śarman mama santu sūrayaḥ śatrūṣāhaḥ svagnayaḥ ||
English translation:
“Most resplendent (Agni), shine forth and illuminate (us); give happiness to your people, to yourworshipper, for you are great; may my priests abide in the bliss of the gods, subduing their enemies, possessingbright fires.”
