Rig Veda 8.47.13

यदा॒विर्यद॑पी॒च्यं१॒॑ देवा॑सो॒ अस्ति॑ दुष्कृ॒तम् । त्रि॒ते तद्विश्व॑मा॒प्त्य आ॒रे अ॒स्मद्द॑धातनाने॒हसो॑ व ऊ॒तय॑: सु॒तयो॑ व ऊ॒तय॑: ॥
यदाविर्यदपीच्यं देवासो अस्ति दुष्कृतम् । त्रिते तद्विश्वमाप्त्य आरे अस्मद्दधातनानेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
yad āvir yad apīcyaṃ devāso asti duṣkṛtam | trite tad viśvam āptya āre asmad dadhātanānehaso va ūtayaḥ suūtayo va ūtayaḥ ||
English translation:
“Deities, whatever evil is manifest, whatever is concealed, (let it be not found) in Trita Āptya, keep it farfrom us; your aids are void of harm, your aids are true aids.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Trita Āptya is the ṛṣi of the hymn. Trita Āptyawas a deity dwelling in remote distance, and consequently evil was sought to be transferred to him; keep it farfrom us in Trita Āptya
