Rig Veda 8.46.23

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

दश॑ श्या॒वा ऋ॒धद्र॑यो वी॒तवा॑रास आ॒शव॑: । म॒थ्रा ने॒मिं नि वा॑वृतुः ॥
दश श्यावा ऋधद्रयो वीतवारास आशवः । मथ्रा नेमिं नि वावृतुः ॥
daśa śyāvā ṛdhadrayo vītavārāsa āśavaḥ | mathrā nemiṃ ni vāvṛtuḥ ||

English translation:

“Ten brown horses bear along the wheel (of my chariot), of mature vigour, of complete power, andtrampling down obstacles.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
