Rig Veda 8.45.17

उ॒त त्वाब॑धिरं व॒यं श्रुत्क॑र्णं॒ सन्त॑मू॒तये॑ । दू॒रादि॒ह ह॑वामहे ॥
उत त्वाबधिरं वयं श्रुत्कर्णं सन्तमूतये । दूरादिह हवामहे ॥
uta tvābadhiraṃ vayaṃ śrutkarṇaṃ santam ūtaye | dūrād iha havāmahe ||

English translation:

“We invoke you here from afar for our protection, who are never deaf, and whose ears are always opento hear.”
