Rig Veda 8.44.20

अद॑ब्धस्य स्व॒धाव॑तो दू॒तस्य॒ रेभ॑त॒: सदा॑ । अ॒ग्नेः स॒ख्यं वृ॑णीमहे ॥
अदब्धस्य स्वधावतो दूतस्य रेभतः सदा । अग्नेः सख्यं वृणीमहे ॥
adabdhasya svadhāvato dūtasya rebhataḥ sadā | agneḥ sakhyaṃ vṛṇīmahe ||

English translation:

“We ever choose the friendship of Agni, the unharmed, the strong, the messenger, the praiser (of thegods).”
